Shinjyuku
Shinjyuku has a lot of skyscrapers in the west side. Those buildings have
observatories and restaurants with good view that can be used for business
dinners. On the other hand, the east side has department stores, bars and
red-light district. So, in this area you will find various categories of
shops and restaurants form high-end to not high-end.

Shibuya and Roppongi
In the daytime, Shibiya and Roppongi are towns different types. Shibuya
is fashion town for young people from teens to 30s. Roppongi has high-end
office buildings that accommodate big international IT companies and also
many foreign embassies are located. But both towns are known for their busy
night life. So, if you like busy night area, Shibuya and Roppongi are perfect
places but if you prefer quiet areas, not for you.
Ueno
If you prefer to find cheap and traditional accommodations, Ueno area is
good. Backpackers, business hotels and old Ryokans are fond in this area.
We recommend you stay in good Japanese Ryokan at least one time. However,
good Ryokans are fond in rural areas where have Onsen, or hot spring. In
Tokyo Rokans are rather small family owned. Akihabara, the electric town
is 10 minutes' walk from Ueno.
Ikebukuro
You will find reasonable hotels, shops, and restaurants here. Sanshine City
is a big and reasonable fashion mall with many restaurants. However, Ikebukuro
is not as convenient as a transportation hub. Your group tours may not start
from Ikebukuro. Airport access and Shinkansen access are not so good here.
When you get used to Tokyo's transportation you will have no problem.
Shinagawa
It's a quiet business district with big hotels like Prince Hotels. There
are many restaurants but for shopping not so many. However, Shinagawa
has good access to trains. Shinkansen, the bullet train, and NEX, Narita
Airport access train, stop here. Also close to another Tokyo airport Haneda.
